Reincarnation, literally “to be made flesh again”, is a doctrine or metaphysical belief that some essential part of a living being (in some variations only human beings) survives death to be reborn in a new body. This essential part is often referred to as the spirit or soul, the “higher” or “true” self, “divine spark”, or “I”.

That’s the new comedy show in Lifetime is about. Drop Dead Diva, premiere yesterday 9 PM ET/PT. But it’s not kind of religious thing, it’s about a model wannabe in Hollywood, have accident, dead, can’t go to heaven or hell, she’s neither good nor bad, and she’s deviously back to the earth in but not in model body, smart attorney body.

There’s another series like this, British one, aired in ITV, Boy Meet Girl. In this series, boys back to earth in girl body, girl in boy body. But the Hollywood version is much better than this British version.

This premiere show was ended with soundtrack from Fergie, Big Girls Don’t Cry. First episode not so bad, funny, I give 7/10.
